late thanksgiving

This year, we celebrated thanksgiving a day later. Yes yes, it was on the day that we all should have been going wild and crazy on the black friday sales, but I don't regret out decision at all because today was by far the best thanksgiving we've ever had. Because I realize that people care as much about my blogs as I do about theirs, I'll keep it as short as possible and save the hairy details for anyone who cares to ask.

Morning starts out with me waking up at 11oclock on the dot, as usual. Getting up, showering, throwin' on a sweater, and heading out to Target makeupless so to buy me some new eyeliner. Stole a christmas gift, got my eyeliner, and headed back home. Got ready and left for Twilight at the 430 showing with Ate. I have no idea what people are talking about, I LOVED TWILIGHT. I'm so incredibily glad that I waited to watch it with Ate, because I know for sure I'd be irritating the hell out of anyone else who I would have watched it with. I couldn't contain myself; I squealed every time Robert Pattinson kissed her.

Returned home to a kitchen of chaos. The house smelled delicious! Dinner was amazing - ham, turkey, cranberry, gravy, stuffing, yams, salad, mashed potatoes, and my pazookie dessert. Literally every single fucking bite was mouth watering good. I really really really need to learn to cook the way that the rest of my family does because I could not get enough of their home made shit. After dinner, we did our tradition "what are you thankful for?" discussion and I had so much that I was thankful for. My life, family, tennis, boyf, cat, food!

Finally, once everything was all eaten, cleaned, and washed we left the fancy eating area and headed to the normal kitchen to play some Uno. Fuck, I lost every time. Eh, it's alright, I came close at least 3 of the 5 times. Probably the funniest part of that night though was Ate saying "Mommy" ... hilarious. You definitely had to be there hahaha.

So basically that's my thanksgiving in a nutshell... a very large nutshell. hahahah what can I say? I can't shorten my blogs for shit. Ps, I miss Aus ):

Oh how bittersweet this break is. I am so so so enthralled to finally get more than enough sleep, not have to worry about Ms. Hill's class, and clean and cook and do all the things that I've been intending to do for the longest time! Unfortunately, at the same time, I haven't been very active at all. I barely moved a muscle all day aside from the times that I wanted to cook for myself. With Austin gone and no one inviting me to do anything, I've just kinda become one with the couch. I think tomorrow I might go out to the movies with a couple of folks, but I'm not sure if I even can go out tomorrow because I promised my sister I'd only watch Twilight with her .. oh I don't know. I really do need to get out though, I need to get dressed up for something and fix up my hair and face and all that junk. I wish I was in Hawaii right now. Sunglasses, flowy dresses, flower in my hair, bathing suit always under my clothes, luaus, cruises, hammocks, sunsets, palm trees, the ocean waves, the sandy beaches, humid air, tropical foods, etc. Oh well, at least I got my laundry done
