late thanksgiving

This year, we celebrated thanksgiving a day later. Yes yes, it was on the day that we all should have been going wild and crazy on the black friday sales, but I don't regret out decision at all because today was by far the best thanksgiving we've ever had. Because I realize that people care as much about my blogs as I do about theirs, I'll keep it as short as possible and save the hairy details for anyone who cares to ask.

Morning starts out with me waking up at 11oclock on the dot, as usual. Getting up, showering, throwin' on a sweater, and heading out to Target makeupless so to buy me some new eyeliner. Stole a christmas gift, got my eyeliner, and headed back home. Got ready and left for Twilight at the 430 showing with Ate. I have no idea what people are talking about, I LOVED TWILIGHT. I'm so incredibily glad that I waited to watch it with Ate, because I know for sure I'd be irritating the hell out of anyone else who I would have watched it with. I couldn't contain myself; I squealed every time Robert Pattinson kissed her.

Returned home to a kitchen of chaos. The house smelled delicious! Dinner was amazing - ham, turkey, cranberry, gravy, stuffing, yams, salad, mashed potatoes, and my pazookie dessert. Literally every single fucking bite was mouth watering good. I really really really need to learn to cook the way that the rest of my family does because I could not get enough of their home made shit. After dinner, we did our tradition "what are you thankful for?" discussion and I had so much that I was thankful for. My life, family, tennis, boyf, cat, food!

Finally, once everything was all eaten, cleaned, and washed we left the fancy eating area and headed to the normal kitchen to play some Uno. Fuck, I lost every time. Eh, it's alright, I came close at least 3 of the 5 times. Probably the funniest part of that night though was Ate saying "Mommy" ... hilarious. You definitely had to be there hahaha.

So basically that's my thanksgiving in a nutshell... a very large nutshell. hahahah what can I say? I can't shorten my blogs for shit. Ps, I miss Aus ):

Oh how bittersweet this break is. I am so so so enthralled to finally get more than enough sleep, not have to worry about Ms. Hill's class, and clean and cook and do all the things that I've been intending to do for the longest time! Unfortunately, at the same time, I haven't been very active at all. I barely moved a muscle all day aside from the times that I wanted to cook for myself. With Austin gone and no one inviting me to do anything, I've just kinda become one with the couch. I think tomorrow I might go out to the movies with a couple of folks, but I'm not sure if I even can go out tomorrow because I promised my sister I'd only watch Twilight with her .. oh I don't know. I really do need to get out though, I need to get dressed up for something and fix up my hair and face and all that junk. I wish I was in Hawaii right now. Sunglasses, flowy dresses, flower in my hair, bathing suit always under my clothes, luaus, cruises, hammocks, sunsets, palm trees, the ocean waves, the sandy beaches, humid air, tropical foods, etc. Oh well, at least I got my laundry done

Today was fun. I woke up around 8 o clock and headed over to Aus' house for breakfast and a last goodbye. His momma made us all chocolate chip pancakes but they ended up being so filling that I had to share my third one with Ken. Man, I really like his family. Around 1130, they dropped me off at home and I said my last goodbye to Aus. I miss that negro already. Got home and died until around 330. Now I'm searching for some Thanksgiving dessert recipes, got any suggestions?

I haven't been very public lately. For some reason, I've been keeping a lot of things to myself or only sharing them with family or the boyfriend. I just thought I might make a public blogger to keep people who wonder what's going on in my life, in my loop. Here it goes:

Friday: My ten month anniversary with Aus. The night before, I got basically no sleep since I was up all night working on my Hill Bookreport2. Yet again, I didn't completely finish my book so I was up all night making up for it. School was routine, however afterschool Aus and I went to the VCAT station room place and did some improv for the drama club to see when we got back from break. I will admit, that shit was a bit frightening but pretty damn fun. Later that night, partied with Papa on his 79th birthday.

Saturday: Woke up and immediately cleaned any room in the house that I might be held responsible for. Aus picks me up from my house and we walk over to his for a post-anniversary celebration as well as a last day together before he vacations in Hawaii. Basically : red ring, yardwork, fear of bunkbeds, slapping, kicking, punching, lying around, hugs, goodbyes. Later that night, went to Safeway with Mom and ran into Ms. Hill ... wtf?!

Sunday: Ate's birthday celebration. Dinner at Chicago Fire(?): artichoke heart, authentic buffalo wings, traditional thin crust, Chicago Fire deep dish, chocolatechip deepdish icecream sundae-like thing. YUM! Afterwards, we finished Kung Fu Panda which turned out to be one hilarious fucking movie. I always liked Jack Black, but this movie really made him make my celebs to meet list.

Tomorrow, or rather, today, I hope to see Aus one last time before he leaves for the week. I'll miss that mo fucka ): While he's away, I'm expecting to go shopping with friends, watch Twilight with Ate, make Thanksgiving dessert, switch rooms, get on that drivers ed, finish homework, etc. I needed this break. Anyways, I hope that was enough of an update for everyone. Gnight!
