Finally, finally, finally, finally, finally!!! I won a game and I actually feel satisfied with it (:
All of the past preseason games we've had, I either hated my wins or loved my losses. Finally, I actually won, and felt good about it. What's been happening is I've been playing "pushers." Basically, they're the players that can somehow manage to get the ball over the net, no matter how hard you try to beast on them. The worst part about pushers is that they SUCK at playing! Do you realize how frustrating it is to put all of your energy into a shot, only to have it tapped back at you?! Good Lord, I was not going to let that happen again.
Today, we went to Vacaville and played on yet another hot ass, skin melting day. Yet again .. my opponent was a pusher. It's crazy, when I started to play my opponent, I was actually really angry already. I was tired of pushers! I really wanted to beat the shit out of this girl .. tennis wise. In the end, the score was 6-3, 6-4. Ya, they might not seem like the BEST scores, and they're really not, but I was soo happy with my last set. I was down 2-4 b/c the heat was really getting to me, then once I hit that score I just thought to myself, "WTF SAM, do you really wanna play a third set against this shitty ass girl on this hot ass day?!" I got my shit together and won 4 games in a row. I am on cloud freakin' nine right now!
I'm really happy right now, I hope it sticks. I also found a penny (heads up) on the ground, so I hope that helps with luck and all. Beginning to feel more confident in myself and I am really liking it (:
